Plot Overview
She Kills Monsters tells the story of high schooler Agnes Evans as she deals with the death of her younger sister, Tilly. When Agnes stumbles upon Tilly’s Dungeons & Dragons notebook, she finds herself catapulted into a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure in the imaginary world that was her sister’s refuge. In this high-octane dramatic comedy laden with homicidal fairies, nasty ogres, and ’90s pop culture, acclaimed playwright Qui Nguyen offers a heart-pounding homage to the geek and warrior within us all.
Parental Guidance:
Hello Adventurers!
Welcome to Reservoirs production of She Kills Monsters!
As you delve into the wondrous world of dungeons and dragons be aware that you will encounter some mild language and mature topics.
This module also contains characters that portray the very real topics of homophobia and bullying. Our actors are simply playing characters to bring awareness. We don’t mean to offend anyone, as the world of Theatre is based on acceptance and inclusion.
Under those cheerleader outfits are kind people you can greet after the show! With that all out of the way, be ready to journey through fantasy lands and ready to meet fairies as you go through the trials of She Kills Monsters!
